    YOUR QUESTIONS
ANSWERED

    What is Match Point?

Match Point supplies self-service tennis and pickleball ball machines to clubs, so players can book a top-quality machine online and use it right at their local club.

How do members book a ball machine?

Players book online: choose your club, date and start time, pay, and you'll get a lock code by text and email for your session. If your club takes court bookings online, you can add a ball machine there too and you'll be taken to our booking page to finish.

    What happens if it rains?

The machines can't be used in the rain or on wet courts. If the weather stops you playing, get in touch and we'll move your booking or give you a refund.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Sign in and go to Bookings to change or cancel up to 1 hour before your start time. If you cancel, the time goes back on your account as credit for your next booking.

What if my code doesn't work?

Your code works from 15 minutes before your session. If it still won't open the box, call us on 0431 566 150 and we'll sort it out straight away.

Do I need to download the app?

No, it's optional. The remote in the box controls everything. The free Pusun app lets you control the machine from your phone instead.

    What's included in my booking?

The ball machine, remote, external battery, 120+ balls and ball pickup equipment. Just bring your racquet or paddle. Your court is booked separately with the club.

What kind of support does Match Point offer?

We provide ongoing support, including regular maintenance of the machines, troubleshooting, ball replenishment, customer service, open day showcases, social media content creation, and rental discounts for both clubs and members.

How does Match Point benefit our club?

Match Point enhances your club’s offerings, increases off peak court hire, increases member engagement and provides a new revenue stream, all with minimal effort on your part.

How do we get started with Match Point?

Simply get in touch, and we'll guide you through getting your club set up with your first ball machine.

How long does it take to get set up with Match Point?

The setup process is quick and easy. Once the agreement is in place, we aim to have your machine and lock box installed within 2–3 weeks, depending on your club's schedule.

How does Match Point work for clubs?

We install a secure lock box for the ball machine at your club. Players book online, unlock the box with their code, and use the machine during their booked time. We also provide detailed instructional guides so players get the most out of every session.

How do you promote Match Point to our members?

We supply ready-to-use promotions and content for your club's newsletters and social media, run open day showcases, and list your club on our website so players can find and book your machine.

Can we customise the booking rules (e.g., maximum booking time)?

Yes, clubs can customise certain booking rules to fit their specific needs, such as setting time limits or restricting peak hours.

Can we offer discounts or promotions to our members?

Yes, clubs can run promotions or offer discounts through our platform. We ask that you come to us first, ideally we work together on these as a way to drive both court bookings and machine hire.

What types of ball machines do you offer?

We provide pro level tennis and pickleball ball machines with customisable settings for different skill levels.

What happens if a machine is damaged?

We handle all repairs and replacements at no cost to the club. Match Point will swap out your ball machine for a working machine where possible to minimise downtime.

How do you ensure the security of the ball machines?

Our ball machines are stored in secure, tamper-proof lock boxes that can only be opened with a unique code sent to the player who booked. The code works from 15 minutes before the session until 15 minutes after it ends.

How often are the machines serviced?

Our team services the machines regularly to keep them in top working condition and checks that the balls are still good quality. Players can report any damage or issues, and we'll get back to you within 24–48 hours.

What is the revenue model for clubs?

Clubs receive a share of the booking fees, providing a new revenue stream without any upfront costs.

Is there any cost to the club to join Match Point?

There is no initial cost for clubs to participate; we handle the installation and maintenance of the lock boxes and machines.

How do we track bookings and revenue?

Each quarter we email your club a statement showing the bookings, hours and revenue at your club, and the commission owed under your agreement. Your club then invoices us for that amount.
